Poor patients and their families from across the country are forced to sleep outside AIIMS amidst cold, dirt and hunger. They have no shelter, no food, no toilet and no drinking water. Rahul said that why have the Central and Delhi governments, which make tall claims, turned a blind eye to this humanitarian crisis? Rahul said that he should feel ashamed. He said that people come here from many states of the country including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, but there are no facilities.

Rahul Gandhi also reached the market and talked to the people buying vegetables. Rahul said that garlic was once priced at Rs 40, today it is priced at Rs 400! Rising inflation has spoiled the common man’s kitchen budget – the government is sleeping like Kumbhkaran!
