BJP president JP Nadda also assured that if his party comes to power in Delhi, it will implement the Centre’s flagship Ayushman Bharat health scheme in its first cabinet meeting.
BJP National President JP Nadda has released the first part of the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. BJP has promised that if the party comes to power, it will give a monthly allowance of Rs 2,500 to women (BJP Manifesto For Delhi Election). JP Nadda said that the party will give a subsidy of Rs 500 on LPG cylinders for the poor and one free cylinder each during Holi and Diwali.
Rs 21,000 to pregnant women
BJP’s Sankalp Patra promises to give six nutrition kits along with a one-time financial assistance of Rs 21,000 to pregnant women. Apart from this, assistance of Rs 5,000 for the first child and Rs 6,000 for the second child has been promised. The party also announced the Mahila Samridhi Yojana. Under which women will get assistance of Rs 2,500 every month.
Party president JP Nadda accused AAP and said that the ruling party had promised to give Rs 1,000 to women in 2021, but this promise was not fulfilled, neither in Punjab nor in Delhi.
Along with this, Nadda assured that if BJP comes to power in Delhi, it will implement the Centre’s flagship Ayushman Bharat health scheme in its first cabinet meeting. Let us tell you that the AAP government was opposing this scheme of the Centre saying that the city already has ‘excellent’ health schemes.
Additional cover of Rs 5 lakh to senior citizens
According to the BJP manifesto, senior citizens will also be given an additional health cover of Rs 5 lakh. Due to which the total health cover given to the elderly will increase to Rs 10 lakh. Nadda alleged that AAP’s mohalla clinics are ‘dens of corruption’, where a ‘scam of Rs 300 crore’ has taken place. He promised that all the allegations will be investigated and those involved in it will be sent to jail when BJP comes to power in Delhi.
Atal Canteen
The party also announced a pension scheme. Under which Rs 2,000-2,500 will be given to senior citizens in the age group of 60-70. Those above 70 years of age will get Rs 3,000. The assistance amount for the disabled and widows will be increased to Rs 3,000. The BJP president promised that Atal canteens will be set up in every slum, where a full meal will be available for just Rs 5.
